The contact form

If you fill it in, we get your name, your email, and whatever you typed in the message box. That's it. There is also a hidden field that only bots fill in, and a timer that catches anything posting faster than a person can read ... neither one stores anything about you.

Your message lands in two places. It is emailed to corby@bode.design through Mailgun, the service that carries our mail, and a copy is saved on our web server so a lost email does not mean a lost conversation. Corby reads it. It does not get sold, shared, or added to a newsletter, because we do not have a newsletter.

Want it gone? Email and say so. We will delete the saved copy and the email.

Analytics

None. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no session recordings. We genuinely do not know how many people read this page, and we have made peace with that.

Cookies

Two, and they are boring. A session cookie and its matching security token, so the contact form can tell a real submission from a forged one. They are not used to track you, they expire after two hours of you doing nothing, and no ad network can read them.

There is no cookie banner because there is nothing here worth a banner.

Third parties

One of the typefaces on this site comes from Adobe Fonts. Loading it means your browser calls Adobe's servers, and Adobe counts that as a page view for their licensing. That is the only outside company your browser talks to here. Adobe's privacy policy is on adobe.com and is much longer than this one.

Links to LinkedIn or to our clients' sites go where they say they go. Once you are there, it is their rules.

What we do not do

No accounts, no logins, nothing to sign up for.
No newsletter.
No ads, and no ad networks watching you read.
No selling or sharing your information with anyone. Nobody has asked, and the answer would be no.
No collecting from kids. This site is for businesses. It is not aimed at anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
